Michael Reyes is an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor with over 18 years of experience in aviation maintenance, repair, and regulatory compliance. After completing his Part 147 training, he began his career in 2007 as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and later worked on major fleets including the Airbus A320, Boeing 737NG/MAX, and Embraer aircraft.

He spent ten years in line and base maintenance, focusing on troubleshooting, structural work, avionics, and reliability programs. His strong technical skills and attention to detail led him into training in 2018, and he now serves as a Senior Maintenance Training Instructor for a major MRO provider.

Michael holds certifications in Human Factors, EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety, Composite Repair, and Advanced Troubleshooting. He develops and delivers both theoretical and practical courses for new and experienced technicians, emphasizing clear, practical problem-solving.

He also works with quality teams to ensure training meets EASA Part-145 and Part-66 standards and contributes to safety workshops as a member of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Association (AMEA).

Outside the hangar, he mentors young technicians, restores vintage components, and takes part in aviation safety research—continuing to raise professional maintenance standards.
