Pan Am International Flight Academy (commonly known as Pan Am Flight Academy) is one of the world’s largest and most established aviation training organisations, tracing its heritage back to the pilot training division of the original Pan American World Airways in Miami, Florida. As the only surviving operational division of the iconic airline’s training arm, the Academy delivers a comprehensive suite of aviation training solutions for commercial pilots, airline crew, dispatchers, and maintenance personnel from around the globe. Its programmes span advanced pilot type ratings, ATP-CTP (Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training), multi-crew cooperation (MCC), flight attendant and emergency training, FAA license conversions, and bespoke airline training contracts. Pan Am operates an immense fleet of full-flight simulators covering a wide range of aircraft, from Boeing 737/747/757/767/777 to Airbus A320/A330 and Saab 340 platforms, and supports FAA, ANAC and other regulatory approvals, often tailoring courses to airline and government requirements. The Academy’s training products include classroom ground school, high-fidelity simulator sessions, and specialised professional skills workshops, servicing both individual pilots and large airline training programmes. With training centres across the U.S. and presence in Europe and Asia, Pan Am Flight Academy remains a benchmark institution for professional commercial aviation training.
