Course Overview

A vocational aviation qualification (AVI60219/AVI60216) that builds on commercial pilot training to develop advanced pilot-in-command competencies and multi-crew operations as part of the Qantas Group Pilot Academy training pathway.

Prerequisites

Prior completion, or concurrent training, in the Qantas Group Academy pathway (CPL and ME IR phases) and ability to hold necessary CASA medical/flight licences.

Modules & Curriculum

Core units focused on aviation risk management, threat/error management, human factors, aircraft flight planning/performance, multi-crew command and aviation security as defined in the AVI60219 training package.

Assessment Method

Combination of practical flight assessments, simulator evaluations, written/briefing tasks and competency demonstrations aligned with CASA and VET training standards.
