Course Overview

A short DGCA‑approved aviation English proficiency training and testing programme that equips pilots with the required language skills to meet regulatory standards for licence issue or renewal.

Prerequisites

Passed English in secondary schooling (Class 10 or Class 10+2); age ≥ 16; licence holders must have completed required training hours; experienced defence pilots exempt from training.

Modules & Curriculum

Focused on the six ICAO language proficiency skill areas — Pronunciation, Structure, Vocabulary, Fluency, Comprehension and Interaction — per DGCA and ICAO standards.

Assessment Method

Formal AELP test conducted by DGCA‑approved examiners evaluating the six ICAO AELP descriptors; successful candidates receive certification.

License/Certification

AELP Training Completion Certificate aligned to DGCA CAR Section 7 Series G Part III/V (supports level endorsement on licences).
