PAL Airlines is looking for Flight Attendants with a passion for safety and customer service to join our award-winning team in Halifax, Montreal and St. John’s.
Responsibilities:
Enforce all Transport Canada policies/procedures to ensure compliance with PAL Airlines and Air Operator standards.
Demonstrate and explain emergency protocols to ensure passenger safety throughout flights.
Communicate important flight information and updates to all passengers and crew.
Deliver high quality customer service standards throughout all phases of the travel experience.
Assist with the resolution of unexpected operational challenges and passenger concerns.
Successfully work both independently and within a team to fulfil operational needs.
Represent PAL Airlines with professionalism and respect to all travelers.
Provide first aid and medical assistance when required.
Full-time
Must be at least 19 years of age to meet the Canadian Liquor Legislation.
The ability to travel in the US without restrictions and hold a valid passport (or Permanent Residency Card accompanied with the Visas necessary to work anywhere PAL Airlines operates).
Must be able to maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (requires a 5-year traceable history, a clear criminal record and a Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card).
The ability to speak French and English.
Completion of the Flight Attendant Academy or the In-flight Institute Online Training Program – CT201 prior to commencing employment.
Preference given to candidates with customer service experience.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills.
Criminal record check prior to employment.
The availability to travel away from home for extended periods of time.
Must successfully complete an initial 5-week full-time training program
Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
