A professional type rating programme that trains holders of CPL/IR pilot licences to operate the Airbus A320 family, integrating Multi‑Crew Cooperation (MCC) and Jet Orientation Training (JOT) as part of preparing pilots for multi‑crew, jet‑airliner environments.
Valid CPL with ME/IR, Multi‑Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate or completion within course, Jet Orientation Training (JOT) completion, EASA/ICAO English proficiency Level 4, valid class 1 medical and typically minimum flying experience (e.g., ~200 h total with PIC hours).
Ground theoretical training on A320 systems and procedures, MCC teamwork and decision making, JOT on jet operational logic, simulator procedures (normal/abnormal), and final skill test in an A320 certified simulator.
Ongoing performance evaluation during theory and simulator sessions, culminating in an A320 type rating skill test and MCC assessment by an approved examiner in simulator.
