Course Overview
A CAAS‑approved ATPL (A) theory course that provides the aviation knowledge required to qualify for ATPL examinations and future professional pilot privileges, covering all 14 required subjects.

Entry into SFC’s ATPL theory training programme — typically requires secondary education and meeting English proficiency/medical criteria for pilot licensing pathways; selection process with interview.
Modules & Curriculum
All 14 CAAS ATPL subjects, including Air Law, Navigation, Meteorology, Human Performance, Instruments, Operational Procedures and other core pilot knowledge areas.
Assessment Method
Internal SFC subject tests for each of the 14 subjects; successful internal results required before sitting CAAS ATPL examinations (regulator exams require ≥ 75% pass).
License/Certification
Completion enables enrolment for CAAS ATPL examinations and contributes toward the theoretical requirement for an ATPL; no licence is issued by the course alone.
