Course Overview

An EASA Flight Instructor Course that prepares pilots to teach flying skills, instructional techniques, and flight training methodologies under EU aviation regulations.

Prerequisites

Must be at least 18 years old; hold a valid EASA PPL(A) with required flight experience and CPL(A) theory exams passed or hold a CPL(A); valid SEP(L) rating; 20 h cross-country PIC; 10 h instrument instruction; pass a pre-entry flight test.

Modules & Curriculum

Includes instruction techniques, flight training teaching methods, regulatory compliance, advanced navigation and handling, simulator work, and supervised flight teaching practice.

Assessment Method

Ongoing practical evaluation through teaching demonstrations, simulator and flight instruction performance, and a formal skill assessment with an authorised examiner.

License/Certification

EASA-aligned Flight Instructor certification (FI) that authorises the holder to provide flight instruction under EASA rules once all practical criteria are met.
