Captain James “Jim” Walker is a highly experienced Instructor Pilot with over 9,500 flight hours and more than 15 years in both commercial and military aviation. A former U.S. Air Force pilot, he transitioned to civil aviation training in 2012 and has since specialized in advanced flight instruction, crew resource management (CRM), and simulator-based training.

Captain Walker holds Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) ratings, with type certifications on Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and Embraer 190 aircraft. Throughout his career, he has trained hundreds of pilots for international airlines, focusing on precision, safety, and decision-making under pressure.

Known for his structured yet supportive teaching style, Jim emphasizes situational awareness, operational discipline, and real-world application of flight theory. He’s also a contributor to aviation safety workshops and has authored several articles on human factors in aviation.

Outside the cockpit, Captain Walker mentors young aviators through the Pilot Pathway Program and enjoys flying vintage aircraft on weekends. His dedication to training excellence and aviation safety continues to inspire the next generation of pilots.
